If you've never seen "The Red Balloon" ("Le Ballon Rouge"), you must remedy that immediately. If you have Netflix, you can watch it online. Ditto for "The Diving Bell and Butterfly" ("Le Scaphandre et le Papillon"), though I wouldn't recommend it. For some reason they have the dubbed version, which is pretty horrible. Watch it in the original French, please.
